Sorry for the late post. November 3rd 2016 was our last performance of the year. We finally performed in Jülich at the Industry Day at the FH Aachen, Jülich. It was an honour to have played for the FH. We hope they liked it :)

Sorry that I forgot to post this. But in September we got also an important performance. It might be small place, but we play in Floßdorf, where Thomas grew up. So yes, it was a relax, friendly, and familiar atmosphare, but we still had to play good. The acoustic of the room is unfortunatelly quite poor. People sat at the back couldn't hear us well, despite of loudspeaker, amplifier, and microphone. That's a pitty. But lot of people came nearer to hear us. We met some familiar faces as well :)

Sorry for have not posted anything since August(what a shame). Life has driven me busy (in a good way) and yeah I am still focused on my master project. Huh hah huh hah!!
So, last Friday Lounge Pad had to perform in the Krönungssaal of City Hall Aachen for the graduation ceremony of my old faculty. Unexpectedly we played quite good. We don't have a lot of videos, because most of the people talked during the songs and our simple camera recorded simply everything, so not much to hear.. But the most important is that we had a good time there :) Here some snapshots of Aachen :)

Good news: I got the internship in Kölleda. The internship will start in March 2017. YEAAAAAYYYYY!!! So I will move after my master study, maybe to Erfurt. I am soooo happy :D :D :D
One step closer to my dream and hopefully I can get a job afterwards, so I won't be deported from Germany. I can't imagine that happening.
Meanwhile, I had to admit that I was so homesick. But, only Thomas noticed. He even bought Sambal Bajak today to reduce my homesickness until the day I come home. (and yes, I plan to be in Indonesia in the middle of January).
My master project seems to make progression. Haha, I'm not sure yet. I have to do my best. I don't want to have bad score on this.

Last weekend, Thomas and I went to Street Food Festival in Jülich and Village Festival in Floßdorf. Let me mention what we ate: pulled pork with fries from La Tapita, Holland mocktail Bali Style, Frozen Yogurt, Indian fried rice with chicken tandoori, Churros and Hungarian Baumstriezel. There we met Christian and Nandea. Rockdorf played some songs during the village fest at around 9 p.m.

I wasn't in the mood of beers. So, I ordered cocktails called SPAIN, made of Grenadine, Likör 43, Maracuja and cream and something else I guess. Thomas uncle treated me with CAIPIRINHA. And before we went home, I got a glass of Pina Colada. They were soooo good, that I fell on my own foot after recording Rockdorf. What a shame.
So, I'll see you in 2 weeks with a report from Bierbörse ya. Haha. See ya!
Letztes Wochenende war mal wieder anders :) Am Samstag habe ich die zweite deutsche Hochzeit besucht. Immer noch mit der gleichen Geschichte: an beiden war ich eigentlich nicht eingeladen, sondern ich war wieder als ein Teil von dem Überraschungsgeschenk. Diesmal mit meiner Lieblingsband in Gutshof Forkscheid. Leider konnte Christian nicht daran teilnehmen. Spaß gemacht hat sie trotzdem. Unsere Musik haben das Brautpaar und die Gäste gut gefallen, denke ich. Conny hat sich jedenfalls SEHR gefreut! :)
Ich denke, trotz ein paar Fehler, die ich gemacht habe beim Spielen, war das ein gelungener und glücklicher Abend. Das Wetter und die Atmosphäre spielten mit. Das Essen war auch lecker. Wir haben den DJ Markus kennengelernt. Ein sehr sympathischer Typ :D

Es geht also direkt weiter, nachdem meine Eltern zurückgeflogen sind. Vier Wochen erstmal bei Thomas chillen, ein bissl Musik machen, spazieren gehen, Freunde besuchen. Ich hab auch endlich mal wieder mit Judith, Josephine und Feryal getroffen und gequatscht. Und Sabine, Khaled und Peggy auch. Wir haben zu zweit auch noch Köln besucht. Mathilda nur kurz gebabysitted.

Khaleds Abschiedsparty
Es gab ein Projekt. Wir haben Zaun gebaut, aus dem Relem eigentlich nicht rausgehen kann. Sie ist aber echt ein Lumpen. Das glaubst du gar nicht. Wir haben uns eine Woche damit beschäftigt, um herauszufinden, wo der Ausgang von Salem ist. Erfolgreich hat sie uns nur getauscht. Es ist uns mittlerweile egal. Sie kriegt sogar jetzt ne Treppe. Es hat mir eigentlich ziemlich Spaß gemacht, Zementieren, Schrauben, Messen, Streichen, außer dass es mega warm war. Dank Onkel Walter, der die meisten gemacht hat und uns mechanische Sachen gezeigt hat :)

Hmm oja. Und am 29.8 haben wir aufm Dariuszs Geburtstag gefeiert. Reingefeiert eigentlich. Er hatte am Sonntag Geburtstag und wurde 50! Er hat Gerling Pavilion gemietet und das Essen war großartig! Alles lecker, aber richtig.
Letzten Samstag haben wir Metti mit Sonjas Idee überrascht und wir haben ihn abgeholt, damit er mit uns auf die Bierbörse ging. Wir haben Mettis Geburtstag dann da reingefeiert. Das Wetter war eigentlich ok, es war zumindest nicht mehr nass, als wir da ankamen, aber je dunkler, desto kälter war es (trotz WINTERJACKE). Und später hat Tom sein Heizkissen benutzt, um meinen Po zu erwärmen.. Haha. Der Abend war auf jeden Fall spaßig. Ich und 7 Jungs: Tom, Metti, Christian, Darek, PeterK, Peterli, Robin. Klingt gerade wie Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs. Aber genauso umgekehrt. Ich war natürlich die kleinste ;) Auf der Bierbörse habe ich Münchener Hell, Erdbeerbier, 2 heiße Met, Rothaus Pils, Mühlen Kölsch. Die ersten drei haben mir ganz gut geschmeckt.
Es ist das Ende der zweiten Woche meines Praktikums in der audiometrischen Abteilung im EV. Ich durfte ab und zu schon alleine Tonaudiometrie und Tymp messen. Immer wieder brauchte ich Hilfe, aber es sollte ja eigentlich normal sein.

So ab ins Wochenende! Ich fahre diesmal nicht nach Jülich. Thomas ist beschäftigt mit der Wahl. Ich mach mir ein schönes Wochenende in Hamburg und gucke Phantom der Oper. ;) Schönes WE!!
Hey hey! Akhir pekan yang seru sekaligus melelahkan. Menikmati pekan-pekan terakhir bersama teman dan pacar sebelum berlibur ke Indo. Hari Jumat kemarin, Lounge Pad nonton Schland vs Perancis di Kuba abis itu ngejam di pojokan Zitadelle. Sabtunya makan buffet cina sm Peggy di Düren, tapi malam minggu tetep dong dihabiskan berdua pacar nonton Coupling ;) Kalo kita berdua,pasti tidurnya di atas jam 1, tapi karena hari Minggu mesti bangun pagi, kita berusaha tidur jam 12 kurang, tapi ga bisa... aarrgh. Ada apa hari Minggu kemarin? Mathilda dibaptis, yeay! Mathilda: anak temen band gw. Bayi paling imut tiada habisnya ;)
Band gw diundang dan di sana kita sempet main musik juga. Di sela-sela, kita sempet cabut karena pacar harus tugas orgen di Floßdorf (dan gw nyetir, tadaaa ;)). Dan akhirnya bantu-bantu Sonja sm Metti beres-beres ruangan: TEPAR! Rencana hari Minggu itu selalu berubah setiap jam, dari kapan dan di mana gw akan mengerjakan tes online gw, krn browser gw einfach scheiße, penuh iklan dan pop-up aneh2. Pada akhirnya gw ikut pacar gw nginep di Floßdorf dan ngerjain tesnya di situ. Itung2 sekalian merayakan hari jadian kami. 3 months yeay!! :)
I was totally shocked. I won't mention any reason today, but it's worse enough to describe my day.
Can't cry much. I let my tears wiped by the wind.
Then, I was thinking about this word "Firasat". I don't know whether the translation correct.
It's some feeling, a special connection that you have, when you love someone. Virtual bond.
And it has been said, if the bond strong enough, one can feel that something (bad) has happened.
I got this kind of feeling since last week. I couldn't really enjoy my birthday, my sweet escape to Würzburg.
At that time, I was under pressure to decide whether to go home for christmas or not.
My feeling yelled a strong "no". I actually have no reason to refuse Pap's wish, but I just had no good feeling.
I just wanted to stay in Jülich. I got a feeling that there's something gonna happen if I go too early.
Worse case is accident or kind of *amit2*
But today I found out why. Why had I not good feeling..
I hope this is really the one. And I realized, how strong the bond is between us. It's not always how long we have been through together that decides, but how we love each other :')
The first time performing in a band again after junior high school.
And I just love this band. I'm now in Lounge Pad officially :)
The concert was successful.
We played Breezin', Der Mann, Autumn Leaves, Hallelujah, Dream a Little Dream of Me, Baby I'm a Fool.
Well as usual, I was panic and totally nervous. My throat was dry and it was just uncomfortable.
I drank almost after every song. And after my first singing I whispered to Christian that I don't remember the second part from Hallelujah and whether they can give me a second to think. The whole band was confused, I got panic than I should, Metti was annoyed and I kept people on waiting. Horrible. But then, yes, I finally remembered and we played all as we wanted to play. This time I proud of myself making no mistakes on the text. Yes :) We got 2 offers afterwards playing on the other stages. Yihaa :)
