Throwback: Pflaumenfest in Floßdorf

Sorry that I forgot to post this. But in September we got also an important performance. It might be small place, but we play in Floßdorf, where Thomas grew up. So yes, it was a relax, friendly, and familiar atmosphare, but we still had to play good. The acoustic of the room is unfortunatelly quite poor. People sat at the back couldn't hear us well, despite of loudspeaker, amplifier, and microphone. That's a pitty. But lot of people came nearer to hear us. We met some  familiar faces as well :)

Here some snapshots.

And some videos :) Thanks to my brother, Galih, who recorded us all the time. Don't forget to subscribe Lounge Pad's youtube channel!

Lounge Pad's big deal :)

Sorry for have not posted anything since August(what a shame). Life has driven me busy (in a good way) and yeah I am still focused on my master project. Huh hah huh hah!!

So, last Friday Lounge Pad had to perform in the Krönungssaal of City Hall Aachen for the graduation ceremony of my old faculty. Unexpectedly we played quite good. We don't have a lot of videos, because most of the people talked during the songs and our simple camera recorded simply everything, so not much to hear.. But the most important is that we had a good time there :) Here some snapshots of Aachen :)

And here, we got one fine video. Fly me to the moon, played as the third song during the ceremony, where people still sat down ;) Congratulations once again to the graduated students! Hope you enjoy/enjoyed our songs :)

Next performance: 3.11.2016, FH Aachen, Campus Jülich

Pfingsten!

Eins will ich euch sagen: hab HEIMWEH :( Sometimes the warmth in the family of others might remind you of your own family and suddenly you miss them. Uuuh.. :( :(

Ohja.
Lounge Pad
Wir haben eh kein normales Foto. (hehe, wollte eigentlich was anderes posten, aber lass es mal lieber für Privat ;)) Also Leute, wenn ihr gute Musik für Veranstaltungen braucht, sprecht uns gern an! :)

The Piano Guys Concert- Düsseldorf

It has been a perfect day last week. Trully happiness. Our first date went fine, though I'm still not quite sure how long it needs to fall in love in him. Don't wanna talk about it though. The Piano Guys were perfect!! and totally entertaining.

They played mostly the songs we've heard on youtube (All of Me, Rockelbel's Canon, A Thousand Year, What makes you beautiful, Süße die Glocken nie klingen, Kung Fu Piano, Waterfall, Can't help falling in love, Peponi, Beethoven's 5 secrets, O come o come Emmanuel, Rolling in the deep, etc). I didn't expect that even in live version it heard as good as in youtube, even better! And I totally admire Bruce Lee (Steve's electric cello) and its special blue pedal effect. It's really cool!
Jon's $2,000 grand piano
Steve's cellos
For those who are friend with me on facebook might know that I posted on my wall that I would love to hear "Angels we heard on high" in the saturday concert. And they did play that song as the second encore!!! And they said that was the first time ever they played it live. Yuhuuuuuuu!!! Isn't that great!!?? It was the best pre-christmas and birthday gift ever! ;)

The coolest thing is that we got autogram and photo session with these awesome guys after the concert. YEEEEAAAHHH!!!!

Paul Anderson,, Al van der Beek, Steve Sharp Nelson, Jon Schmidt, Dita, Darwin, Christian

THANK YOU SO MUCH, THE PIANO GUYS, FOR THE REALLY NICE CONCERT!
I LOVE YOU :*

P.S: When they told the story about how they came up with the idea of kung fu piano and how they wish to be able to make video on the 7 wonders of the world, I got an crazy imagination of colaboration on Indonesian's Candi Borobudur and wanted to write them for that. At home, I checked the kung fu piano video again and found out that Indonesia is not on the list :( I forgot that Candi Borobudur is not any longer counted as world's seven wonders since several years.. Huhu, schade (that's a pitty). But who knows? maybe in another chance ;)

Benefizkonzert

The first time performing in a band again after junior high school.
And I just love this band. I'm now in Lounge Pad officially :)
The concert was successful.
We played Breezin', Der Mann, Autumn Leaves, Hallelujah, Dream a Little Dream of Me, Baby I'm a Fool.
Well as usual, I was panic and totally nervous. My throat was dry and it was just uncomfortable.
I drank almost after every song. And after my first singing I whispered to Christian that I don't remember the second part from Hallelujah and whether they can give me a second to think. The whole band was confused, I got panic than I should, Metti was annoyed and I kept people on waiting. Horrible. But then, yes, I finally remembered and we played all as we wanted to play. This time I proud of myself making no mistakes on the text. Yes :) We got 2 offers afterwards playing on the other stages. Yihaa :)

Thanks for all who came: Frater Andy, Judith, Khaled, Ary, Rudiger, Thomas, David, Sabine, Ulviyya, Sabrina.

This is really the highlight of the week after all rejections and the result of the IELTS.

Here are some picts. Enjoy!

#6 My View About Mainstream Music

Mainstream music denotes music that is familiar to the masses, as for example popular musicpop musicmiddle of the road music, pop rap or pop rock (Wikipedia)
Why not? This is the easiest music to find, isn't? Some of them become my fave as well, although I'm actually a fans of musical songs. I don't mind hearing them, although in most cases I'm not so up-to-date with those songs. But like some old indonesian song (00's), I knew most of them, with text, and it is an advantage here, because in German we still love to sing it together and we're not to up-to-date with every single new pop song, except they are controversial :P
