Mal gespannt, Mal eher skeptisch :)

Heeeiii.. I'm quite tired today. I used to have fridays free, but today I had experimental class, should attend. I started working on the report at the midnight (just arrived home at 23.30). Hei what did I do?

I was yesterday in the guitar course :) The last class sadly :( We even finished faster than we thought. rrr. I know my not-going-home-before-dark syndrome came again. I just wanted to stay a bit longer. They didn't mind anyway (I think haha). The others were joining as well. So, Alexander and Gregor should practice for the mass on June 10th. I just want to see, yeah if you know what I mean. At the end I was the only student who stayed, and we had been through all the song :) Had a lot of fun with them two and yeah I don't mind to sing at the mass if needed :) Maybe this is the God's way, why I was kicked out from the audition of The Voice of Germany. hahah (ach ne, das war doch meine Dummheit).

"Mal gespannt, mal eher skeptisch, manche zögernd, viele gern" (ich aber gern).

Anyway I took some pictures of today (my sweet escape). Guess where I've been in the first two picture.
For the right answer I'll give you free hugs ;)

Blushing

Gestern hat uns Gregor "More than Words" beigebracht, was ich gebeten habe. Klasse. I think he's sweet in the way he is. hahah. Hauptsache, er sung und spielte. K.E.R.E.N. He is just awesome ^^.

He is Preparing Something Good

My week is getting better, I would say. Though all bad news happened last week seemed have no end. Anyway I've done something I called "Minggu Prihatin" in the connection with my robbed house. I ate only what I had, I bought only bread and milk in the whole week.

I haven't said, that I got the scholarship from KSG, have I? :) Yes, I got it. My application had been accepted. So, I'll be financially supported for the next 2 semesters ;) As the consequenz, I should organize some events for the other students. I offer Saman-course for this semester and a one-day event called "Tag der Interkulturellen Begegnung" with forum and workshops, in cooperation with the Indonesian Catholic Student Family -Aachen. Bin einfach begeistert :)

Anyway I would say that I'm in crisist of money at the moment. I spent 10€ just for lunch and dinner in one day (I would kill myself), which I expected only to spend 6,50€ because I borrow 3,50€ from Judith. I still have to pay 5€ for the guitarcourse also.Uh-oh.. No money left.(though I still went to supermarket on Sunday, because the needs are sold 10% cheaper. God is good.

There was a festival or kind of sunday market last Sunday. Then a crazy idea popped up my mine. Play guitar, play guitar!! I brought my guitar at 18 p.m with an empty cacao box. I found a good place in front of the shoe shop, put all my stuffs there, my songbook, the cacao box, started to sing (warming up).

"Weine nicht wenn der Regen fällt, dam dam dam dam.. usw usw"

Nobody heard. Hmm. Stop with this Gregor's song. Not suitable to my voice. Except "Country Road" :P

Followed with Adele's and Beyonce's song. Some euros was coming. A professor was looking at me. Uh-oh. I sang mostly old songs like "Through The Eyes of Love","Edelweiss", "Somewhere over the rainbow","My favorite things", "When You Say Nothing at All". The others are Hillsong's and indonesian: "Everybody Knew" by Citra Idol and "Jari-Jari Cantik".

At the end I got 9,99€ (after 1,5 hour). Not bad at all. I said to my brother, let see if I got tomatoes, eggs or coins. He didn't believe when I told him that I got coins! hahaha. I just like it, nice talking with nice people on the street, playing and singing, nice weather, got enough money to pay debt and the course ;) I could be proud of myself :P

Nevertheless I hope that the family that will give me this babysitter job calling me back. It's been one week :(

Officially... poor

Good luck, bad luck, who knows.
Yesterday your parents might be rich, who's gonna expected that today your parents lost more than 30 million rupiah.

That happened to me just today.

My house in Bekasi was robbed. Mom told me crying that the robber broke up the window, got into my parents' bedroom and stole everything he could bring with. Euros, dollars, jewels, cameras, video camera, laptops (mom's and dad's). My money also!! :(

But I'm still grateful that there was nothing happened with my parents. They just sad. Of course. My mom especially, because she kept all the money that she will use to pay the flight to Germany this summer at home and now it's all gone.

Well, I'm officially poor student now :p I should be ready for every condition that I may face in these next months. Should spend some money, that I really don't know HOW!!

I just met my ex-boss in the cafetaria this afternoon. She told me that I had done 60 hours overtime and I will be given a new 3-month-contract without working. I was shocked. I had done more than 160 hours overtime, 174 hours to be exact (more or less 8 months salary), how could I be paid only for 3 months???? I'm still wondering :((

Ok, next plan. I'm gonna call Alexander's neighbor, if they still need baby sitter. I hope, from that I can pay AT LEAST my guitar course. When summer comes, then I should be ready to sing more songs and play on the street. Hmm. Oh ya, I'm crossing fingers for the scholarship from KSG, as well.

I hope this is really the last bad news I have to hear.. Oh my goodness.

Anyway, there should be good news beside the bads. I got 2,7 for Konstruktionselement(Constructional Elements), which I thought, I would just get either 4,0 or 5,0 (failed). I was so happy :)

Time 2 Celebrate!!

Hi all, merry christmas and happy new year!
I was celebrating christmas at Judith's place yesterday night until today midday. It is just so nice having somebody to celebrate Christmas with. Her parents are so kind and warm-hearted people, his uncle is just loveable despite his disability.

Well, this is my first time celebrating christmas with german family. I need more preparation, at least presents. Judith helped me, though, consider giving what to who. I arrived in Euskirchen around half past three, was picked up by Judith at the bus station. I introduced myself soon I arrived her place. Then I was shown the room, which I can sleep in. We sat in the living room, listened to part of "Maria's Little Donkey" and listened Josef (Judith's uncle) talking on the phone. We drove to the church at half past four. The church was quite full already. However, the mass was nice, at least I could sing almost all of the songs. We went home afterwards and had dinner together. Maria (Judith's mom) said that the food isn't german typically, but it's still something, since in Indonesia we have never had dinner at home and my mom have never cooked on Dec 24th.

While waiting Maria clean up the dishes, I played some round with my guitar, which have been thought by Gregor in the last course. Quite helpful :) Josef was singing with us the part of the song, at the rest of the songs he was looking to ähm I don't know what. Anyway I could see that he was quite entertained. Then we sat in the family room and looked for what we got for christmas. Josef had really big eyes for presents, he got the most, but got easily distracted by others' presents. So, Maria and Judith had to help him, otherwise he didn't open any of his presents. He was quite surprised that I also gave him something and told everybody on the phone that I gave him a german-volksong-CD. oh ya, and you know what? He called me "schöne schwarze Haare" (pretty black hair) when I played the guitar... :)) and ähm, he gave him a great big hug today, which I didn't expect.

I learn something from this christmas.
Christmas is not only for yourself, but it's how to make somebody happy, joyful to be with you.Small thing can even mean a huge thing for the others and through their happiness you will find yourself somehow in a really peaceful and satisfied condition. That's christmas: tun was gutes (doing something good)

By the way, I went to an indonesian mass in Cologne and played gospels and christmas songs there :)

Last but not at least, Alexander and his team from KSG finally finished their video project: Time 2 Celebrate. Here they are!!
Judith and I couldn't stop laughing, when we saw this. It's just funny to see ourself on a video, which is posted in Youtube. Hi guys, we're now in youtube ;) We like it pretty much though. Big applause for Alexander and his team. and once more:
Merry christmas!
