Time 2 Celebrate!!

Hi all, merry christmas and happy new year!
I was celebrating christmas at Judith's place yesterday night until today midday. It is just so nice having somebody to celebrate Christmas with. Her parents are so kind and warm-hearted people, his uncle is just loveable despite his disability.

Well, this is my first time celebrating christmas with german family. I need more preparation, at least presents. Judith helped me, though, consider giving what to who. I arrived in Euskirchen around half past three, was picked up by Judith at the bus station. I introduced myself soon I arrived her place. Then I was shown the room, which I can sleep in. We sat in the living room, listened to part of "Maria's Little Donkey" and listened Josef (Judith's uncle) talking on the phone. We drove to the church at half past four. The church was quite full already. However, the mass was nice, at least I could sing almost all of the songs. We went home afterwards and had dinner together. Maria (Judith's mom) said that the food isn't german typically, but it's still something, since in Indonesia we have never had dinner at home and my mom have never cooked on Dec 24th.

While waiting Maria clean up the dishes, I played some round with my guitar, which have been thought by Gregor in the last course. Quite helpful :) Josef was singing with us the part of the song, at the rest of the songs he was looking to ähm I don't know what. Anyway I could see that he was quite entertained. Then we sat in the family room and looked for what we got for christmas. Josef had really big eyes for presents, he got the most, but got easily distracted by others' presents. So, Maria and Judith had to help him, otherwise he didn't open any of his presents. He was quite surprised that I also gave him something and told everybody on the phone that I gave him a german-volksong-CD. oh ya, and you know what? He called me "schöne schwarze Haare" (pretty black hair) when I played the guitar... :)) and ähm, he gave him a great big hug today, which I didn't expect.

I learn something from this christmas.
Christmas is not only for yourself, but it's how to make somebody happy, joyful to be with you.Small thing can even mean a huge thing for the others and through their happiness you will find yourself somehow in a really peaceful and satisfied condition. That's christmas: tun was gutes (doing something good)

By the way, I went to an indonesian mass in Cologne and played gospels and christmas songs there :)

Last but not at least, Alexander and his team from KSG finally finished their video project: Time 2 Celebrate. Here they are!!
Judith and I couldn't stop laughing, when we saw this. It's just funny to see ourself on a video, which is posted in Youtube. Hi guys, we're now in youtube ;) We like it pretty much though. Big applause for Alexander and his team. and once more:
Merry christmas!

Get Out of Stress: Christmas-Market-Tour

The first exam is done! Four to go.. but I still have time, I hope. I'm having 3 more in January and February, 1 in March. Yeheii.. :) Well, after I wrote biology, I just want to refresh myself along the weekend. I called Opa and Oma, and finally I made out meeting them, right after school on Thursday. On Friday there was a little reunion of Josephine, Judith, Feryal and me. We were in Aachener Weihnachtsmarkt and babysitted three children, who yelled "Carrousel" (merry-go-round) all the time.

On Saturday, I went to Kölner Weihnachtsmarkt and Burgweihnachtsmarkt at Satvey castle. A lots of freshmen were joining us on that day. I get to learn one chinese girl, quite interesting to hear, what she told me :) Her name Wu Yucheng by the way. Got nice company, quite nice cold weather, romantic place, and I found lots of mistletoes!!! (MISSING: somebody to be kissed under the mistletoe, huhuhuhuhu). Owya, Kölner Weihnachtsmarkt is quite big and crowded, you can find almost everything there. Burg Satzvey is quite small, three times bigger than Jülich though. And it is romantic with the lighting. Unfortunatelly we went home just when the lights turned on.

On Sunday, I went back to Aachener Weihnachtsmarkt

A Walk to Remember

inspired from waiting for christmas by KSG on Dec 7th. "Only Hope" was sung by Mandy Moore in her film "A Walk to Remember" 2002 with Shane White. This song kinda calmed my soul down. Love it :)

Life is a walk to remember. God, you're my only hope.

December and everything nice :D

Hey, I always believe that December will be the sweetest month of year. and it is!

I hope that the snow will fall down on my birthday.. Well if it's too early, let it snow on December 25th :) I just like the atmosphere, everybody is just in a good mood, breakfast together on wednesdays, daytrip to christmas market next week ( I hope I still can watch the pre christmas concert afterwards), light festival and christmas market at uni on my birthday, guitar course, meet Eva this Sunday. I think I'm gonna spend a lot of money :( well, at least for glühwein (warm wine) :) it's soon darker but the christmas light from the city center, from the christmas market makes Jülich more alive!!

Hello, A.L.I.V.E!!! And I suddenly think that I'm in love with (somebody in) Jülich.

Well I'm not quite sure, since everybody said that he is too old for me (oh not again!). and I have never been in a conversation with him. But what I wanna tell you is, that I think I'm in love with one of the organization that I regularly visit. It has been years, since the last time I felt this, when I was in the ministrant group quite intensive. I can't live without meeting each other even for a week. And what comes next is a possesiv love. just like if you're in a relationship! You don't consiously realize that you've made yourself a fortress. You're not gonna move on or move out just because you want to stay with this kinda organization, even that you knew, the other members are moving and don't have the same feeling like what you feel. But yeah we'll see... at the moment I'm enjoying the time, but I realize the risk, that everybody can dissapear at the same time. It is so. Student organization. And if the time comes, I'm not ready yet :(

Ok, shouldn't disturb you, guys..

Have yourself a merry little christmas, friends :) enjoy advent!
